Born in Port Arthur, Texas, Mike grew up near Philadelphia in southern New Jersey. When he was ten years old, a small event would forever change him and lead him to Virginia and eventually Loudoun County. Driving home from visiting relatives in Tennessee over the holidays, Mike's family stopped on Route 81 to stretch their legs -- it was December 27th and it was a balmy 74 degrees out. In the middle of winter! Of course Mike's home in New Jersey was covered with snow at this time of year. Mike said to himself "so this is Virginia; I'm going to live here someday". And the rest is history! Mike attended Old Dominion University In Norfolk, Virginia where he received a BSBA in Marketing. After living in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area for many years, Mike moved to Charlottesville, Virginia. A job opportunity at Lansdowne Resort brought Mike to Leesburg in 1990. He has resided here ever since.
Mike's career history is made up of many years in the Hospitality industry, a five year stint starting, managing and selling his own E-commerce company and then the move into Loudoun County Real Estate. He joined Keller Williams Realty Leesburg in 2002 and was named Keller Williams Virginias Region "Rookie of the Year 2002" and "MVP 2002" . A Top Producer at Keller Williams Realty Leesburg, Mike is now owner and Lead REALTOR of The NEXT LEVEL TEAM where he and his colleagues are "taking Real Estate to the Next Level"!
Mike's hobbies include fitness/exercise, golf, skiing, cycling, and the culinary arts. He enjoys reading, listening to NPR, watching good movies, spending time with friends, and helping people with their Real Estate needs.
